the roof of the new home under construction I commented to the Buyers
how nice and neat the shingle application was. They commented " Great
news - and we are sure glad we opted for the upgraded shingles" ! Well, can you imagine their surprise when I advised them these were not
'upgraded' shingles ? The outcome? The Builder replaced the roof. Cost of Inspection $295.00, Cost of roof - $3,000.00. Incidentally - are you aware there are 3-tab standard 20 year rated shingles and 3-tab upgraded 25 year rated shingles ? Can you tell the difference? A Qualified Home Inspector should be able to.
